You are what you show

We often associate status with a certain rank, position, and power that a person holds in society or in their immediate environment. Everyone strives for recognition and social esteem; achieving and securing this is important not only in our personal lives but also in our studies and in any organization in which we work. However, with the trend in many organizations toward decentralized structures - less hierarchy and more teamwork - the status of the individual is no longer as clear and unambiguous as it once was. The ability to use the right body language, openly express passion for a cause, and have a large dose of self-confidence are essential for making an impact on others.

Those who understand and master the signals of body status are heard, appear competent, avoid conflict, and create resources for individual, spontaneous, and authentic interaction.

Content:

  • Being able to interpret and learn the meaning of "body status signals"
  • Strengthening and supporting your own status and that of the other person
  • Recognizing differences between men and women in the status game
  • Stabilizing your own status (standing) and being able to adapt it optimally to others
  • Using body language and your voice as tools for defining your status
  • Exercises: practicing and applying what has been learned in everyday situations (job interviews, blind dates, parties, etc.)
