My studies have been extended for serious reasons. How do I apply for a case of hardship?
According to §7 StipG it is possible to apply for a prolongation of the promotion period, provided that the period of study is extended because of serious reasons. Serious reasons include: disability, pregnancy, care-taking and education of a child, study-related stay abroad.
Send your application including attestation of the case of hardship to deutschlandstipendium@uni-frankfurt.de at least 10 working days before application deadline so in case of approval of your case of hardship, you can still apply on time.
The informal application must contain the following information:
- Given name and family name
- Enrollment number
- Course of Study
- Application with reasoning
- Attestation
