Anti-Discrimination Directive

Goethe University’s Anti-Discrimination Directive (German) was published in 2019 and serves to protect against and dismantle discrimination at the university.

It applies the ban on discrimination set down in the General Act on Equal Treatment (AGG) for the benefit of all Goethe University members and affiliates and gives affected persons a right to consultation and a right of complaint.
It expressly encourages those affected to avail themselves of these possibilities and to seek suitable support. It obliges Goethe University to take preventive measures and makes sanctions possible.
