Bonald Perkola is a student of Political Science at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, where he is currently also completing his Master's degree in the same program. His involvement with the Chair of "Methods of Qualitative Empirical Social Research" is both on the administrative level, helping students navigate through their Bachelor's and Master's final exams, and on the subject didactic dimension. As a student assistant to Prof. Wagemann, he helped design and teach the seminar "Research Design. Comparative Case Studies", where he had the opportunity to lead the tutorial for the same course. As part of Wagemann's team, Perkola is also active in the German-Italian Center for European Dialogue "Villa Vigoni", where he is mainly in charge of organizational tasks. The focus of his research at the university is on the wave of autocratization in Southeastern Europe and the manifestation of radical left and right populism in this region. Other research interests include "Theories of International Law", " Theories of Compliance and Transitional Justice" with a special focus on transitional justice after the dissolution of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He is currently working on a research project on the measurement of political process preferences of persons with a migration background in Germany."
