DFG-Senate approved FOR 2125
The DFG-Senate approved the research unit FOR 2125 "Structures, properties and reactions of carbonates at high temperatures and pressures" that will focus on the role of carbonates in the deep Earth's mantle. Including scientists from Frankfurt am Main, Bayreuth, Berlin/Potsdam, Freiberg and Hamburg the research unit combines versatile knowledge as well as instrumental and experimental setups needed to simulate the high pressures and high temperatures that prevail in the deep Earth's mantle.
