- Career -

Dieter Zapf studied psychology and theology in Neuendettelsau, Erlangen, Marburg and Berlin. He received his diploma in Psychology and his PhD from Free University Berlin. Habilitation 1993 at University of Gießen. Since 1997 he is a Professor for Work and Organisational Psychology and Scientific Director at the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO) at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt, Germany, and visiting Professor to Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK.

During his career Dieter Zapf has taught a variety of topics in work and organizational psychology. Currently, he teaches in the bachelor and master programme at Frankfurt university and in the organizational psychology Master programme at Manchester Business School.
