Living in Frankfurt

Frankfurt has all the qualities of a city with a high standard of living: a middle-sized city (app. 700,000 inhabitants), it is modern, international (over 180 nationalities live here in Frankfurt), and open-minded. Including commuters, Frankfurt makes it over the one million mark during daytime hours. The city has many faces: on the one hand the banking quarter, which cannot be missed with its impressive skyline, and on the other hand, Frankfurt’s cosy historical city with many half-timber houses and small streets and alleyways where one can stroll and take in the ambiance. Right in the middle of it all is the Zeil (between Konstablerwache and Hauptwache), which is the most famous shopping district in Frankfurt.
