Vocational Orientation for students of the Faculty of Social Sciences

Beyond the acquisition of specialized knowledge, the B.A. Political Science program aims to develop critical judgment and to be able to recognize causes and approaches to solutions of complex political and social problems. In addition to preparing students for entry-level employment, a central goal of the program is to qualify students for a master's degree and thus, among many other opportunities, for an academic career.

The Bachelor's program leads to a first professional degree and thus provides a basis for a successful career entry. Knowledge of social science analysis will help you shape and reflect on political decisions and processes. The transfer of theoretical, institutional, empirical and practical professional knowledge as well as methodological skills prepares you for a diverse range of activities in national and international fields. The study of sociology provides you with deep theoretical and methodological knowledge.
