This section is aimed at students who are studying at universities outside Germany and would like to study at the Goethe University as part of ERASMUS+. The Faculty of Biosciences offers modules in one Bachelor's and several Master's degree programs. A very good knowledge of the German and/or English language (at least at level B2) is required for a successful course of study.

Bachelor's Degree in Biosciences

The language of instruction is German. In exceptional cases, some events may be offered in English on request.

Master Programs

The department offers six Master programs. Depending on the Master, the language of instruction is German and/or English. In the German-language Master's programs, English language courses are offered on request (contact persons below):

• Master Interdisciplinary Neuroscience (MSc INS) 
  This master is entirely taught in English.

• Master Molecular Biotechnology (MSc MBT)
  In German, on request some events in English. 
  Contact: Head of the study program Prof. Dr. Helge Bode.
• Master Molecular Biosciences (MSc MBW) 
  In German, on request some events in English.

• Master Ecology and Evolution (MSc OE)
  This Master's program comprises both modules taught in German and modules taught more or less entirely in English.

• Master Physical Biology of Cells and Cell Interactions (MSc PBioC)
  This Master is taught entirely in English.

• Master Environmental Sciences (MSc UW)
  This Master is taught entirely in German.
