On Tuesday, October 17th we will be holding a lecture with Prof. Dr. Bernd Ullmann on the topic of “Analog Computing in the 21st Century". After the lecture there will be our Maker Café and a workshop on soldering. 3p.m. SR307, Robert-Mayer-Straße 11-15.

The Maker Café will take place again on Monday, July 10th. As always, you are invited to stop by for a coffee or tea, exchange ideas with other students and get to know each other. We will also prepare a nice accompanying workshop program (tba) for you from the MakeLab team, so stay tuned! We look forward to meeting you!
As usual, we will have a stand at the university's own job fair Enter_Zukunft_IT together with the IT department and the Bembelbots. There we will demonstrate some of our devices and give you the opportunity to try out some things yourself.

The MakeLab invites all interested parties, freshmen and old hands, to open the summer semester 2023 with us with a barbecue together. Feel free to come to the MakeLab from 2 p.m., vegan grilled food and drinks will be provided. In a relaxed atmosphere we would like to talk to you about our plans for the coming semester. We look forward to meeting you!

This time there will be a soldering workshop as part of the Maker Café, where you can try out kits of different levels of difficulty - success you can touch, even without any soldering experience! In addition, as always, you can talk about various topics from the fields of additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, DIY and the social effects of technology in a nice atmosphere with a hot or cold drink.

Not only students of scientific and technical courses should feel addressed!
