  • Foreign Policy Analysis, special focus on security policy of the German Federal Republic
  • International Relations, special focus on transatlantic security relations
  • Theory of International Relations, special focus on theory of security communication from a sociological perspective, especially a sociology of knowledge and sociology of science perspective

Studium der Politikwissenschaft, Soziologie, Anglistik und Wirtschaftswissenschaften an den Universitäten Koblenz-Landau und Gießen.

Verschiedene Auslands– und Forschungsaufenthalte in Nord– und Südamerika (Florida International University, Miami, Florida, USA; Feldforschung in Havanna, Kuba).

Abschluss: Magister (2007). Abschlussarbeit: „On the Role of Culture and Identity in U.S. Foreign Policy“.
