About me
My research is at the interface of social and organizational psychology.
First, I am interested in decisions in organizations, specifically defensive decisions. Defensive decisions are those in which the decision maker considers option A the most effective from an organizational perspective but chooses an inferior option B to protect themself against negative consequences in case option A fails subsequently. My second research focus is on perceived uncertainty in work contexts. Since uncertainty surrounds us all every day, I would like to use my research to help people and organizations deal with uncertain situations confidently and efficiently.
