A Forum for Political Theorists and Philosophers

The »Justitia Center for Advanced Studies« is a forum for political theorists and philosophers interested in pressing political questions of our time. Its goals are to bring together the theoretical and methodological perspectives of diverse approaches in the field with respect to normative debates about the future of our societies. The Center is generously funded by the Alfons and Gertrud Kassel-Stiftung and directed by Prof. Dr. Rainer Forst at the University of Frankfurt. Each year, up to three post-doctoral fellows are appointed and join the Frankfurt academic community, especially the Normative Orders Research Network, and conduct their innovative research projects. The fellows reside at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften in Bad Homburg. The Center also holds regular research workshops, conferences, and seminars.
