About the Kolleg
The Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften (FKH) is located in a scenic park in Bad Homburg, a small spa town in Frankfurt’s northern outskirts with public transit connections to Frankfurt and Goethe University. The FKH is the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities of Goethe University. Each semester, the FKH hosts a number of fellows made up of scholars spanning diverse countries and disciplines. Fellows of the FKH have access to a research environment in which they can intensively pursue their individual projects and critically reflect on their work in consultation with other scholars. The FKH provides its fellows with all necessary office supplies and IT support as well as advice and support in many practical aspects of living and working in Germany and the Frankfurt area. A daily fellows’ lunch is served in the FKH’s cafeteria. The FKH also offers fully furnished apartments in its adjacent guest house.
