ZIAF organises workshops, conferences and lectures with innovative topics, which adress both scientists and the general public. Moreover ZIAF designs and organises togehter with scientists exhibitions on various topics in both Germany and Africa.

ZIAF-Lectures The annual ZIAF-Lecture brings highly acclaimed representatives from the arts, politics, and academia to Goethe University to talk about current questions in African Studies. The lecture addresses both specialists and the general public.
