The Information Video (in German) about the application procedure summarizes the most relevant steps via uni-asst.

Selection Criteria

Most relevant criteria for the selectioin of AWP members are:

  • high-school grades (HZB-Noten)
  • if applicable university grades
  • German language skills
  • general study qualification/ motivation

Preference is given to people who have not yet studied or who do not yet have a professional degree in order to enable them to pursue higher education.

Persons with a master's degree or higher are only accepted in exceptional cases and with convincing reasons.

If there are considerably more applicants than available places, the results in the TestAS examination for foreign university applicants will also be considered. This test is available in German and English and is offered at different test centers.
