(Re-)accreditation of study programs

Within the framework of reaccreditation procedures and embedded in the ELLVIS project, we accompany departments in cooperation with colleagues from the study program development and evaluation:

Cross-actor group kick-off workshops at the beginning of reaccreditation procedures (organized and moderated by SLI and IKH)
Consultation on questions of study program development during the procedure.

Examples of topics:

  • Implementation of competence orientation under consideration of Constructive Alignment.
  • Strengthening internationalization in a study program (e.g. strategies for the 'International Classroom')
  • Thematic area of examinations, e.g. expansion of examination formats
  • Event formats and their didactic design, e.g. also integration of innovative formats such as service learning
  • Strengthening digitalization
  • Constructive handling of diversity of the student body (e.g. establishment of additional offers such as pre-courses or flexibilization of the range of study programs)
  • Strengthening of study program profiles (e.g. by differentiation in study programs with strong overlap)
  • Establishment of new subject areas in the curriculum

In addition, on request we also accompany measures for the development of study programs outside of reaccreditation procedures, for example within the framework of a curriculum workshop.

The IKH offers kick-off workshops in the context of (re)accreditation of study programs as part of the university-wide project "ELLVIS", financed by the HMWK.
