Following the recommendations of the German Science and Humanities Council (WR), Goethe university has adopted the development of departmentwide teaching profiles. These teaching profiles differentiate the university’s principles on teaching and learning and on digital teaching with respect to the diverse academic cultures in the departments. The teaching profiles are fed back to the university’s overall strategy within the strategy talks between executive board and departments.
