Daniele earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Bocconi University in Milano, Italy in 2016. Through a double degree program, he obtained a Master degree in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Trento (Italy) and a Master degree in Sociology from the Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg (Germany) in 2019. He is currently in the process of obtaining his Doctoral Degree in Sociology from Humboldt University of Berlin, where he is member of the Berlin Graduate School of Social Sciences and the Research Training Group “DYNAMICS".

In the framework of the IDEO-CoUP project, Daniele is currently working on the relationship between couple-level gender ideologies and transitions between forms of partnership. Research interests are the broad world of gender inequalities and the role played by gender ideologies in shaping life course events and everyday behavior, from partnership choices to division of labor to political behavior and participation.
