The Goethe-Lauf is a campus-race which connects the two campus locations, Ginnheim and Westend. This race was first held on the 28th of august 2019 in honor of Goethe's birthday and gets repeated annually ever since. The distance of this running track is about 5,8 km and ist starting point is at the sports campus in Ginnheim. Due to the Corona-pandemic, our 2020 run was placed under the premise „running together, in distance united“. Employees and students of Goethe-University had one week to run the predefined distance on an individual track of their own choosing and submit their time. Goethe-Lauf 2021 was online, as well. This time in cooperation with the Techniker Krankenkasse, the premise was „take part and do good“. In 2022 we were happy to return to hold the event on site and in person. Starting point was Sportscampus Ginnheit once again.
