Three pivotal attributes render the MEAS programme unique in continental Europe. Firstly, an intercultural environment that brings together talented students from all over the world. Secondly, the closely interwoven interdisciplinary collaboration between the four leading faculties of Law, Economics & Business, Social Sciences and Linguistics, Cultures & Arts, permitting students to individually design their curricula across a diverse set of course offerings, rounded off on the basis of strong language skills (with a focus on Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese and Korean). A particular strength of the programme comes exactly herein into force, as its interdisciplinary approach not only promotes students to pursue an academic career, but also prepares them to enter the professional world. Thirdly, its location, in Frankfurt am Main, the commercial hub of continental Europe, fosters a swift connectivity to major global corporations, consultancy/advisory firms, high-tech industries, startups and NGOs.

The academic rigour in combination with communicative skills earned during the programme strongly influenced my career choices to date and I am currently working for a Chinese banking institute in the Rhine-Main metropolis, utilizing both my Business and Linguistic skills learned during the MEAS programme.
