The Executive Board, in alignment with the Staff Council, has extended the term of the SARS-CoV-2 Occupational Health and Safety Measures until December 31, 2023.
Important: the binding Coronavirus protection measures continue to apply. You can find them under "Employees" on this website.
Note on the regulation situation regarding masks: It is currently recommended that Goethe University students as well as external visitors wear a medical mouth-nose protection. Special occupational safety measures apply to employees (see also link above): Wherever the distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained, employees must wear a medical mouth-nose protection. Special regulations apply to the Niederrad Campus – they can be accessed on the University Hospital website. In the case of changes to regulations, students, faculties and other units will be informed immediately.
The new SARS-CoV-2 Occupational Health and Safety Measures took effect on October 1, 2022. In the following information for students and teachers you will find everything important about studying, teaching and examinations at the university in the 2022 winter semester.
Please note that even under the new rules, we recommend the use of medical masks indoors at the University to all students! In addition, we recommend you to get vaccinated. Vaccination appointments are offered at the Westend, Riedberg and Niederrad campuses. Further details and the online appointment portal can be found here (in German).
