Our team predominantly contributes to the MA and BA degree programs in political science at the department of social sciences at Frankfurt. We also offer classes for educators in the context of related degree programs at Goethe-University Frankfurt. Substantively, our teaching focuses on basic and advanced learning in the areas of comparative legislatures, party politics, and democracy. Area specific classes focus on German and American politics. Theoretically, we are committed to further skills in theory guided empirical analysis. Practically, we aim to provide guidance in how to design scientific inquiries and how to use distinct research methods to come to scientifically robust and defendable answers.
We belive in our teaching in academic training as a cumulative effort. We aim to encourage students to focus on particular questions and methods during the course of their studies and to seek an integarted curriculum, to eventually further specific skills and concerns.
