In my studies of political theory, I am particularly interested in questions of political legitimacy following Jürgen Habermas and John Rawls. I have dealt most intensively with authors such as Christina Lafont, Hélène Landemore, and Philip Pettit. In the future, I would like to look at how these relatively closed debates in democratic theory can be brought into conversation with ideas from legal theory, the philosophy of nature and political economy.
