In order to accommodate the maximum number of students, we are operating on an irregular schedule during the summer semester 2024.

 

Our regular opening hours this summer semester 2024 are the following: 

Monday:
12.00-13.45 

Tuesday:
12.00-14.00 

Wednesday:
12.00-16.00 

Thursday:
12.00-14.00  

To accommodate higher demand, we will offer altered opening hours from weeks 6 to 9

Week 6 (20.05-26.05) + Week 7 (27.05-02.06):

Wednesday: 
11.00-16.00 

Thursday:
12.00-16.00  

Week 8 (03.06-09.06) + Week 9 (10.06-16.06):

We will be reducing our opening hours during the lowest demand weeks at the end of the semester (first two and last two weeks of the semester break):

The Writing Centre helps students of English or American Studies develop their academic writing skills in English through one-on-one coaching sessions. Students have the chance to optimize essays, response papers and term papers. We can help you with:

  • Brainstorming
  • Organizing ideas
  • Developing a thesis statement
  • Testing a thesis statement
  • Structuring a text
  • Reviewing a draft
  • Improving clarity and language
