"Kulturanthropologie Notizen" is the publication series of the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and European Ethnology at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. "Kulturanthropologie Notizen" deals with current issues and innovative research approaches. The aim is to contribute to scientific developments as well as to social debates from the perspective of the discipline of cultural anthropology and European ethnology.

The thematic issues are usually published once or twice a year and are co-developed in close exchange between editors and authors.

Since 2021, the publication series is published in a new design as Open Access.
