The Legal Department is part of the Legal Division and sees itself as service institution for all university organs, organisational units and administrative departments.

When should you contact the Legal Division?

Goethe University employees can contact the Legal Division if they require work-related advice in the following areas:

• Information on legal issues in all matters of relevance to the university
• Legal advice about exercising domiciliary rights (Hausrecht)
• Legal advice in preparation for critical conversations
• Filing charges on behalf of the university
