Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO)

FGYO offers scholarships for self-organized internships (at least four weeks) in France for undergraduate students. The scholarship consists of a monthly stipnd of 300€ and a travel allowance.

Carlo-Schmid-Program is a program by the German Academic Exchange Agency offering internships at International Organizations and EU-institutions:

Further public funding options:

Auslands-BAföG

BAföG offers funding for internships abroad of at least three months. If you qualify for funding, you need to repay half of the funding in future. 

For Freemovers: tuition fees of up to 4.600€ may be covered by Auslands-BaföG, too.

The German Academic Exchange Service offers a wide range of scholarship programs for study-related stays abroad. 

BMBF Scholarship Databank

Stipendienlotse is a scholarship databank offered by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The databank includes both scholarship programs for your regular course of study in Frankfurt and for study-related stays abroad.
