Constance Hsiung, Ph.D.
Vita
Constance Hsiung is a postdoctoral researcher in the Sociology of Work at Goethe University, Frankfurt. She received her PhD from the University of Michigan (USA), and her Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Chicago (USA).
Her research interests include the study of work and gender, family, culture, and valuation. Her methodological interests center on mixed-methods and historical approaches. She has worked with interview and archival data, as well as nationally representative survey data. She is currently investigating gender and social class differences in career and family decisions, and in change in work and family values over time.
