Application documents
Application through uni-assist
We recommend you to apply through uni-assist online and by post until the end of the extended application period. All required documents need to be submitted within the application period. Please find general information on the application process through uni-assist here.
If it is not possible for you to send your documents by post to uni-assist due to the Corona crisis and/or the circumstances in your home country, the online application is sufficient. However, please consider that the certified copies of your documents need to be submitted afterwards (at the latest by the time of enrolment).
Certifications and Language Certificates
If it is not possible for you to gather certified copies of your documents due to the Corona crisis and/or the circumstances in your home country, the same rules as mentioned above apply. The certified copies need to be submitted at a later point (after an online application through uni-assist and at the latest by the time of enrolment).
The required certificates to prove the applicants’ German language proficiency have to be submitted until the end of the application period. Please contact the respective language test centers (TestDAF, Goethe Institute, Telc) for alternative test dates.
Evaluation Result from uni-assist
If it was not possible for you to accept your place of study due to the Corona crisis and/or the circumstances in your home country, your uni-assist evaluation result is still valid for the following two semesters. This means, if your documents have already been correctly evaluated by uni-assist, you do not have to apply again through uni-assist in the next semester. In this case, please send an e-mail to ssc@uni-frankfurt.de
Master’s programmes
Please find information on the master’s application and the varying deadlines and/or requirements of each individual programme here.
APS-Certificates
Applicants from China or Vietnam still need to submit an APS-certificate for the application. However, it might be possible to receive the APS-certificate without a personal interview. Instead, a verification of your documents may suffice. The official decision can be found here.
DSH preparation courses
Due to the corona crisis, the DSH preparation courses will be offered in two different forms. Firstly, a 'Blended Learning course' with limited classroom attendance and secondly, a pure 'online course'. Please find more information at the International Study Centre.
