Anti-Discrimination Centre

What is discrimination?

Discrimination comprises forms of discrimination, degradation, stigmatisation or exclusion based on:

  • racial attributions,
  • gender or gender attributions
  • (presumed) sexual orientation or identity
  • non-consideration or degrading of physical/mental abilities or appearance
  • age
  • (presumed) ethnic origin or social status
  • religion

The Anti-Discrimination Centre sees itself as a specialist, advisory and mediating body. The main focus of our work is to support people in conflict situations and in dealing with experiences of discrimination. Furthermore, we offer mediation and accompaniment to counselling and self-help organisations for people who have experienced discrimination.
