Early Bird Registration starts December 1st
The registration to the 82nd Annual Meeting of the VHB starts on 1 December 2019. Next to tickets that cover all four days of the conference day passes are available as well - incl. day passes for the "Digital Day" on 18 March that focusses on the general theme of the conference "Digital Transformation".
The programme will cover talks, panel discussions and workshops on a broad range of topics from „Consumer Privacy on the Internet“, „Cultural Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age“ and „Machine Learning in Marketing Research“ to „Management und Organisation in der Plattformökonomie“ and „Zukunft der Arbeit – Digitalisierung ändert unsere Arbeitswelt“. In addition, the open meeting will offer numerous lectures, symposia and posterslamsessions. Further details will be published in the new year.

Call for Student Volunteers
We are looking for motivated students (Bachelor, Master, PhD), who will support us in organizing the conference as Student Volunteers. As a Student Volunteer you will get an overview over current research topics, get in contact with scientists and companies as well as get an insight into the process behind the scenes of a conference.
You will have the opportunity to attend the conference as well as numerous lectures, workshops and the supporting program free of charge. In addition, the Faculty of Economics and Business will issue a certificate for conference support to all Student Volunteers.
To participate as a Student Volunteer, please send a short, informal application to the organization team. We will let you know soon whether you will be joining us.

Paper submission closed
The paper submission for the 82nd VHB conference "Digital Transformation" is now closed. We are excited to have received more than 200 contributions to the open meeting as well as 30 contributions to the Special Issue of the VHB journal Business Research on "Digital Transformation".

Opening Keynotes on March 17th, 2020
We are glad to welcome Dr. Theodor Weimer
, CEO, Deutsche Börse AG, and Prof. Dr. Bernd Skiera
, Professor for Electronic Commerce, as keynote speakers for the opening of the 82nd Annual Business Researchers Conference (VHB) on 17 March 2020. While Dr. Theodor Weimer's will give a talk on „Digitalisierungsdilemmata der deutschen Wirtschaft“
, Professor Bernd Skiera will discuss the question „Wie teuer ist mehr Privatsphäre im Internet für die werbetreibende Industrie“
. (Both keynotes will be held in German.) Afterwards we welcome all participants to the traditional opening reception.
The conference opening will take place at 5.45 p.m. in Festsaal Casino at Goethe University, following the annual general meeting.

VHB-Baton in Frankfurt
On the last day of the 81th Annual Business Researcher Conference (VHB) on Friday,
June 14th 2019, the VHB-Baton was passed to Goethe University Frankfurt in the
person of Prof. Dr. Mark Wahrenburg.
We would like to express our gratitude to the local organizers around Prof.
Dr. Susanne Homölle in Rostock for a successful conference and are happy to

Conference „Digital Transformation“ in Spring 2020
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Goethe University will organise the conference Digital Transformation within the context of the 82nd Annual Business Researcher Conference (VHB), 17-20 March 2020.
On 18th of March the focus
lies especially on the Main Topic of the conference: Digital Transformation. The main conference on 18th and 19th of March is accompanied by a
preconference and postconference program.
The topic of 'Digitalization' is taken forward cross-departmental at Goethe University Frankfurt and being researched in all its facets. The innovative Digital Transformation MBA at Goethe Business School is the only MBA program in Germany with a dedicated, industry-wide focus on digital transformation. It is only natural that the Annual Business Researcher Conference comes to Frankfurt to examine the subject in its versatile meaning for the field of Business Administration. The VHB, the leading academic association for Business Research in the German-speaking area, already advocated hosting the conference at Goethe University in 2018.
Experts from academia, business and society will give talks and discuss the main topic "Digital Transformation". Besides a broad program on the main topic the conference will provide a platform to present and discuss latest research findings from all fields of business administration. The conference is accompanied by a varied supporting program which also includes a conference party.
