Welcome to the "Internationaler Studientreff" !

You have arrived from abroad and need orientation on campus and in Frankfurt? You would like to get in touch with other internationals and fellow German students? You are already studying at Goethe-University and ready to explore the city and its surroundings?

Then you should definitely check out the "Internationaler Studientreff" (IST)! The IST is a project launched by Studium Lehre Internationales that aims to help international students settle in and establish contact between international and German students. For that purpose, we offer many exciting events in and around Frankfurt, e.g. excursions to neighboring cities as well as visits to museums, the stock exchange or the opera. In addition, we enjoy events like joint movie nights, our regulars' table and sporty activities - all discounted and with lots of fun!

In our informational events, we are available as a student contact point for questions about the university, studying and living in Frankfurt and are happy to give tips on topics such as living and working in Frankfurt as well as leisure activities or social commitment for international students.

Important information: Due to the current situation with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-19, we do not offer any consultation hours until further notice. Our in-person events are limited to vaccinated or recovered people only (2G Rule). Please register in the OLAT course to stay informed!
