Dear prospective candidate for our Master scholarships.
Before you take a closer look at the website of the research centre, we would like to give you some basic information about it.
Here is a short profile for your convenience:
This transregional research centre investigates the collective behaviour of interacting many-body systems in a broad phenomenological context. The combination of a wide variety of selected materials – from simple model systems like ultra-cold quantum gases or magnon systems to complex quantum magnets or metal-organic compounds – makes it possible to separate generic properties from material-specific phenomena. The University of Frankfurt is the coordinating university of the SFB/TR 49 and participates with 9 projects from the areas of theoretical and experimental condensed matter physics in this research centre.
