Robin Jochen Rentrop is a research assistant at the Chair of Comparative Politics at Goethe University Frankfurt. After a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and social sciences at the University of Cologne and Universidad de Sevilla, he received his master’s degree in political science from the University of Potsdam. His research focuses on the descriptive and substantive representation of young people in national legislatures. Furthermore, his research interests lie in the areas of public opinion and political attitudes as well as in research on electoral behaviour. He is particularly interested in political trust, determinants of electoral behaviour and attitudes towards democracy.
