Ad Infinitum Scholarships for Doctoral Candidates at the Faculty of Modern Languages

GRADE and the Faculty of Modern Languages offer two scholarships for doctoral candidates in German Studies and related disciplines at Goethe University. The scholarships are funded by the Ad Infinitum Foundation and cover up to 1350 € per month for two years. The scholarships are available for doctoral candidates in German Studies as well as candidates in General and Comparative Literary Studies, General Linguistics, Scandinavian Studies or Theatre, Film and Media Studies whose work has a substantial relation to German Studies.

Dear Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs,

the continued effective measures Goethe University is taking to limit the Corona risk are also affecting GRADE and our services. This upcoming winter semester the majority of our workshops are again held in online format.

The workshop program for the winter semester 2021/22 is now open for registration. We are pleased that, despite the difficult starting position, we are able to offer you a varied and attractive workshop program!

Other events such as the CareerTalks, Social Events, Center Lectures etc. are also mostly offered as online events.

The GRADE team works for you primarily from the home office. The Coaching sessions as well as the Open Office consultation hours take place by telephone or as video conferences. The colleagues are available for you in the home office via the known telephone numbers or email addresses.
