These projects are carried out in collaboration with the former COACTIV team at the Max Planck Institute for Educational Research. The COACTIV research programme comprised a number of studies investigating teachers' professional competence.
The COACTIV study investigated the professional competence of mathematics teachers and its effects on instruction and student success.
The COACTIV-R study investigated the development of teacher candidates' professional competence during the classroom-based induction phase. Members of our team had been involved in the implementation and analysis of these studies.
