Research Interests
French philosophy and phenomenology, social and political philosophy, normative ethics/moral philosophy (in particular theories of responsibility), methodology, critical theory, the works of Pierre Bayle, Immanuel Kant, Emmanuel Levinas, Karl-Otto Apel, Jürgen Habermas, Axel Honneth, and Rainer Forst; philosophy of language.
Teaching Competences
