GRADE eLearning Platform

...in cooperation with TwentyOne Skills

With the new eLearning platform, GRADE offers a comprehensive portfolio of online courses for Early Career Researchers. This service is provided in collaboration with TwentyOne Skills, currently the largest training platform for academic education in the German-speaking region. Integrating a digital platform for self-learning, GRADE broadens it's training program with a new format that is easily accessible and flexible to use for researchers of all career stages. Users can choose between and/or combine synchronous and asynchronous learning modes.

The eLearning courses are offered in two formats:

  • Deep-Dive courses take 2-3 hours of learning time. The topic of the course is presented in detail. This more comprehensive format is ideal for researchers who want to learn new concepts and skills independently and on their own.
  • The eLearning Nuggets focus on teaching a specific technique or method that can be applied to the user's research and/or other projects. The learning timefor this is set at about 20 minutes.

In addition to the asynchronous course portfolio, the format also considers the importance of interaction and engagement within peer groups. For this purpose, there are live events offered on the platform. Under the guidance of a trainer from the TwentyOne Skills team, participants have the opportunity to discuss the course contents, exchange ideas, and receive concrete support for the application of specific methods in their research project.

Registration

At the beginning of each quarter (January, April, July, October), a cohort of 150 participants will be admitted to the TwentyOne Skills eLearning platform. Licenses for the platform are granted on a first come first serve basis. Access to the platform is activated for 3 months at the beginning of each quarter (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December).

You can register here at any time via the link for the respective quarter:
