The Academic Welcome Program for highly qualified refugees (AWP) serves to prepare refugees for their studies and offers German courses from level B1 to C1, (subject-specific) propaedeutics as well as counselling and support services. The Service Agency for Studies & Refugees supports refugees in their studies.
The Goethe Welcome Centre (GWC) provides support and advice on non-academic matters such as finding accommodation, dealing with the authorities, research funding, social integration etc.
