Would you like to receive a statement on the performance of proper studies for the extension of the residence permit at the Foreigners' Registration Office? Then please fill out the following form and send it to us in advance with attachments by e-mail.

This takes place exclusively in the applicant counseling.


What is a qualified opinion?

For your application for an extension of your residence permit, you must submit proof to the Ausländerbehörde at regular intervals that you are pursuing a proper course of study. We will issue this proof (the so-called qualified statement) and require various documents from you for this purpose, including your performance records. You will find further information on the application form application form.  

Please note that the processing of your application will take a few days. If you have any queries, the processing time will be extended even further. Please contact us well in advance of your appointment at the Ausländerbehörde (at least 2 weeks in advance).
