A brief overview can be found on the pages for prospective students.

There are also students from other subject areas signed up for computer science as an application subject.

 Campus Bockenheim

Our main building is on the Bockenheim campus at Robert-Mayer-Straße 11-15, which houses the administration of the department (Direktorat and examination office), the various research groups, the computer science library, the Magnus lecture hall, for computer science, the IT-support group (RBI) as well as study rooms for students and the student council lounge.

Other research groups of the department, the Dekanat of the faculty, and the Ingo-Wegener learning center are located on the opposite side of the street in the so-called Math Tower, Robert-Mayer-Straße 10.

Future Location: Riedberg

After completion of the new building of Faculty 12 Computer Science and Mathematics, IT will move to the natural science campus of the Goethe University on Riedberg. The new location of the department will be in the immediate vicinity of the Otto Stern Center, the lecture building on the Riedberg campus, and the Uni-Campus Riedberg underground station. Until the move after 2025, the department will remain at the old traditional location in Bockenheim.
