Living in Frankfurt

The Goethe Welcome Center (GWC) has compiled helpful information on its website about getting of to a successful start in Frankfurt. Further support for new arrivals is offered by the FRM International Office of the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main Regional Association. The Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration offers further start-up assistance in the form of the Welcome-Center-Hessen. Goethe University is committed to a family-friendly infrastructure and offers various childcare options. If you have any questions, the Family Service will be happy to help you. Housing

Frankfurt consists of 43 districts, each with its own character and a different attitude toward life. Due to its central location in the Rhine-Main region and the high density of jobs located here, the demand for housing in Frankfurt is correspondingly high. Finding central and affordable housing is therefore not easy. You should plan enough time for this. You can also find more information about housing on the GWC website.
