  • Emotional Robotics in Elderly Care (ERimAlter)

The cooperation project “Emotional Robotics in Elderly Care (ERimAlter)”, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, started in October 2013 at the Goethe University Frankfurt and the Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. This project investigates requirements for the implementation of robot artifacts in certain target populations as well as the question how these artifacts can be optimized for specific target groups.

  • "LEGES II Longitudinal Study"

Multicenter Study „LEGES II“ (German: "LErn- und GEdächtnisleistungen vom Säuglings- bis zum Vorschulalter im Kulturvergleich“- Learning & memory performance during toddler- and preschool childhood; sponsored by the German Research Association (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG)).

  • Since the end of 2009, a sub-project of the Bernstein-centre “Bernstein Focus: Neurotechnology, Frankfurt”, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, has been established at the Department of Developmental Psychology of the Goethe University. Using eye-tracking technology, young infants` gaze behavior will be investigated. “Bernstein Focus: Neurotechnology, Frankfurt” is a cooperation between the Goethe University, the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS), the Honda Research Institute Europe as well as the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research and has an interdisciplinary analysis of the visual system at its focus.
