Vita & Research - Dr. Thorsten Thiel
Since December 2017 Dr. Thorsten Thiel is a research group leader at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Connected Society (Social Science Center Berlin, WZB). From 2010 to mid-2013 he has been a research fellow (postdoc) at the cluster of excellence "The Formation of Normative Orders" (Frankfurt) and part of the team of Prof. Deitelhoff. In 2013 he became the coordinator of the Leibniz Research Alliance “Crisis in a globalised world” and a fellow at Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF). Since that time he is an associate member of the cluster and the professorship.
